One Green Thing

Adding to my original post from over a year ago, I had the pleasure of seeing author Heather White in Bozeman, MT this past weekend. We caught up on a lot of things, and she was kind enough to give me a signed copy of her book. I love it!

One Green Thing is a wonderful tool to guide folks on how to make a difference. Heather takes a simple and understandable project management approach to channeling your concerns for the future into concrete action. It starts with introspection, you are asked to analyze your own traits and capabilities. One doesn't need to be Al Gore, Rachel Carson, or David Attenborough to make a difference in some way.  The recipe for success is easy to read, understand, and do. The message of hope is uplifting. Working toward positive deliverables and outcomes creates dual benefits for the individual and the planet. You may even find a nugget or two that will help you in other areas besides Eco-activism, so everyone who reads this wins!

"Heat domes, melting ice caps, declining fisheries, wildfires, coral bleaching, is it all getting out of hand in reality and in our minds?  I just wanted to pass along information for those who may be experiencing eco-anxiety.  And one that gives hope for inspired action.

An old acquaintance of mine, author Heather White addresses the topic in her new book.  It's worth a read."
